Why MMC: I went to college at UVM and visited Maine several times and fell in love with it! During my interview I got a really good vibe from all the attendings and residents, everyone seemed really happy and loved their job. The program motto "doers not callers" really spoke to me, and I felt that the mix of urban/rural EM would serve me well for wherever I end up after residency.
