Life/professions/adventures prior to attending medical school:
I worked as an EMT, medical assistant, then later as a physician assistant. I also earned my MPH and worked on global health projects in Nepal and Rwanda. One of my favorite pre-medical school adventures was a 7,000 mile cross country road trip on a sidecar motorcycle with my boyfriend (now husband) and dog

Interests / Hobbies:
Surfing, canoe trips, bluegrass, pranks, salsa dancing

Sardines

Christmas tree salesperson (was the best AND worst job!)

If I weren’t a doctor I would be:
Stand-up comedian

Medical Interests:
Ultrasound, emergency medicine capacity building

Personal Goals:
Be equal parts incredible emergency medicine doctor and mother, also get barreled by a wave surfing

Bigelow Preserve

Busy ED, dedicated faculty, family vibes, training that prepares residents to practice emergency medicine in any setting, located in beautiful Portland, ME!
