What book do you recommend to others and why: The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon! It has sorcery, dragons, political intrigue, deconstructing outdated societal structures, amazing characters, and hilarious Shakespearean-style insults. What's not to love?
Best Arts Experience: Seeing Laufey: A Matter of Time Tour live in Minneapolis on an away rotation!
Favorite Hike or Ski trail: Tumbledown Mountain Loop Trail - climb up rock scramble through a cave to beautiful ridgeline hiking and a small lake at the top, then hike down and swim in Webb Lake at the bottom. Stunning in the fall

Closest brush with a famous person: My stand-in grandma is on Kesha's speed dial and sends her cookies sometimes

Craziest / Best / Worst Job: Best job working the gatehouse at Winslow Park in Freeport! Got to meet tourists from all over the world, and when nobody needed anything I could sit and stare at the ocean, read, knit, listen to music etc
If I weren’t a doctor I would be: A film composer

Why MMC: Maine has always been my home and I am deeply committed to this community! After my incredible experience as a medical student in the Maine Track and seeing the teaching culture here firsthand, I could think of no better place to train in emergency medicine.
