The team recently submitted a letter of intent proposing a PCORI (Patient-centered Outcomes Research Institute) grant focused on the use of buprenorphine in acutely injured trauma patients as they proceed from the ED through the hospital course. The team was just notified that their letter was selected to move forward in the process, with the opportunity to submit a full proposal for funding consideration.
